I don't want to diminish the accomplishment of the Cambridge team, but the Johns Creek Jr. Gladiators 6th grade boys team actually won the East region of the CCJBC with an 8-1 record, and a head-to-head win over Cambridge.

Actually, Cambridge 6th grade boys are considered co-champions in the region, since both teams finished 8-1 in the region. The head-to-head win during region play seeds the Johns Creek team first in the CCJBC tournament.
