BestWork DATA Quizzes Employees to Gather Performance Info
The new Alpharetta company makes answering clients' questions about their workers its business.
A new Alpharetta company says that with the answers in a 25-minute online questionnaire, figure out why very talented individuals sometimes don’t perform up to expectations, whether or not they can ever improve and how best to bring about that improvement.
BestWork DATA officially launched on Jan. 3 in Alpharetta, and is dedicated to helping managers and employers find the answers, its CEO said.
"We answer your questions about people so that your employees can reach their full potential and your company can make better business decisions,” said founder and CEO Chuck Russell.
More specifically, BestWork DATA is a human performance technology company that uses the latest science to measure how people think, learn and behave and link the data to decision points within a business in a way that is easily understood and acted upon.
On Jan. 3, the three founding partners tripled the size of their company by adding six more individuals, all of whom were matched to their roles using company technology.
Russell said the foundation of the system is a 25-minute online questionnaire. The company uses the resulting data to develop 32 standard reports that can describe every aspect of an employee’s workplace performance, from why he cannot close a sale to how best to train him.
Reports are dynamic and available at the touch of a button. They are linked to actual workplace performance so that anyone in an organization can use and understand them without the need for an outside consultant. Additional reports are possible at any time throughout an employee’s work cycle.
