Construction progress at Benton House of Alpharetta continues at the corner of Cogburn Road and Hwy. 9.

The senior living community still plans to have assisted living apartments and a memory care neighborhood, said Jessica Carroll-Miller of Principal Senior Living Group.

"We've been really excited for the interest, and we've been getting calls," she said. "I am taking calls already from family members."

David Winters, one of the lead partners, said they are really excited about the progress.

Carroll-Miller said they definitely want Benton House to be a resource for the community.

"We'll be hosting some lunch 'n' learn opportunities shortly," she said.

She can be reached at 678-319-3000.
