3 Suspects Caught After North Point Mall Snatch and Grab

An Alpharetta Department of Public Safety spokesman said the attempted theft at Dillard's led to a chase down GA 400, which ended after several vehicles were struck.

Alpharetta police continue their search for a fourth suspect in a snatch and grab theft at Dillard's at North Point Mall on Thursday evening. Three of the suspects were caught after a chase, said Alpharetta Department of Public Safety spokesman George Gordon on Thursday night.

The suspects attempted the snatch and grab at the mall before fleeing in a car. They drove down GA 400, getting off the highway at the Mansell Road exit as police gave chase. The car struck two other vehicles during the chase, Gordon said. During the chase the suspect's vehicle got a flat tire, but they kept driving until they stopped on Holcomb Bridge Road by an extended stay hotel.

Police caught three of the suspects as they attempted to flee the vehicle, but a fourth suspect got away.

Gordon said the three suspects were being taken to the Fulton County Jail Annex in Alpharetta. Police have not identified the suspects who were arrested yet.
