Rotarians from the Rotary Club of Alpharetta recently attended District 4400 Ecuador Project Fair in Guayaquil, Ecuador.  Twenty-seven Ecuadorian Rotary Clubs from across the country presented 45 projects in the areas of water and sanitation, disease prevention and treatment, maternal and child health, basic education and literacy, and economic and community development. 

Rotarians from three countries attended the Fair to look for projects to include in their International efforts.  The United States was represented by Clubs from Alabama, California, Connecticut, Texas and Georgia.  While attending the Fair, the Rotary Club of Alpharetta funded one new home for the Solidarity Families project sponsored by the Rotary Club of Rio Guayas New Generation Interact and Rotaract Clubs.  In addition, the Rotary Club of Alpharetta made a contribution to the Rotary Club of La Puntilla Club for the purchase of a much needed fetal monitor at the Samborondon Clinic/Hospital in Guayaquil, Ecuador.    The Rotary Club of Alpharetta is working with District 4400 Ecuador and leadership at their District 6900 and Rotary International to coordinate a Global Grant Project for one of the Projects presented at the Conference.
