Sleep in Alpharetta Promotion Winners Enjoy $100 Gift Cards

Alpharetta visitors were surprised with a $100 gift card after their room number was chosen as a winner of the Alpharetta Convention and Visitors Bureau’s (CVB) yearlong Sleep in Alpharetta promotion.

To encourage hotels stays, the Alpharetta Convention and Visitors Bureau will draw a room number from one of Alpharetta’s 23 hotels each week through July 2013; the lucky guest staying in that room on Saturday night will receive a $100 Visa Gift Card. The hotel rooms that were randomly drawn to win during the month of August were at the Embassy Suites Alpharetta, Hampton Inn Alpharetta/Roswell, Homewood Suites Alpharetta and the Alpharetta Marriott.

Mary Kay Hamlin was one of the recipients of the $100 gift cards.  She and her friend Dolores were visiting from Maryville, Tenn. to see Il Divo at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre at Encore Park.   “You have a lovely city,” said Hamlin, “We wish we had more time to explore, but plan to do so in the future.”

Alpharetta, Ga. offers its visitors a variety of activities and events all year long.  Located just 22 miles north of Atlanta, Alpharetta is home to the only American Girl Store® in the Southeast, the 12,000-seat outdoor Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre that hosts some of the biggest names in Christian, country, rock and top 40, over 150 dining options, one-of-a-kind shopping and 300 attractions in a 50 mile radius.
