Rotary Club of Alpharetta Membership Continues to Increase
The Rotary Club of Alpharetta recently inducted seven new members into the organization.
Individuals desiring to become a Rotarian must be sponsored by an existing member who presents their application to the Board for approval. Once the member has been approved, he/she will attend an orientation meeting which explains the obligations and expectations membership requires. The member then participates in an induction ceremony and becomes a red badge member.
The process to become a blue badge member includes working at Rotary meetings, participating in service projects, attending a district assembly meeting, charity volunteer work and various other tasks. The member then submits a form to their mentor indicating completion of these assigned tasks which allows them to attain the designation as a blue badge Rotary member.
For more information on becoming a member of the Rotary Club of Alpharetta, feel free to attend their breakfast meetings on Fridays at 7:30 am at Alpharetta Presbyterian Church. You may also contact Kirk Driskell at 770-560-9666 or kirk@powersoldit.com.
