Fulton Science Academy Elementary Students Enjoyed Fernbank Visit
Fulton Science Academy Private School elementary grades students had a trip to The Fernbank Museum of Natural History on Dec. 13.
Students saw an I-MAX film all about African Elephants and visited the “Winter Wonderland" exhibit. This holiday-inspired exhibition features trees and other displays decorated by local cultural partners that recognize celebrations including Christmas, Hanukkah and the Festival of Lights, as well as traditions and practices like origami, indigenous art and national symbols. The exhibition twinkle with lights, glimmer with color, and shine with a variety of cultural ornaments and emblems that recognize the diversity of celebrations, holidays, traditions and events around the world.
Everyone enjoyed this and the other museum exhibits before and after the scheduled movie and lunch times.

Can the Patch please stop posting these obvious attention getting ad's for FS trio of schools. Part of the Gulen play book is to have their schools in the press as often as possible. They believe it adds a element of validity. Wow, student's went to Fernbank and watched a movie. Certainly a newsworthy addition to the Patch.

Truthseeker, you've missed the point of this type of post. It is about the children. Have you never cut out an article in the local newspaper of your child's accomplishments and activities and posted on the refrigerator? Rather than stop posting these, I want every school – public, private, religious, charter and home school assistance centers – to post their students' activities also. You'll see a post by Peggy Still School of Music this weekend. The Alpharetta Junior Raiders had a post earlier today. A parent with a child at Cogburn Woods Elementary sent in a little photo gallery about the principal bringing a reindeer to the school this week to brighten the children's day, another post that went up today. I've directly asked most, if not all, schools to post articles about school activities and I will continue to do so.
