Alpharetta Public Safety Workers Help Creek View Elementary Students

Creek View Elementary celebrated Red Ribbon Week with a week of events for the students.

The goal was for students to learn about the importance of good character and making wise decisions to lead a healthy life.

The fourth and fifth graders learned about the effects of choices on our body by seeing adverse effects on real organs.

The Alpharetta police department came and presented to the second and third graders, stressing the importance of wise decision making and that all actions have consequences.

The kindergarten and first graders had a fleet of community helpers come visit for a Touch-A-Truck presentation. Alpharetta EMS, firefighters and police officers came out with their equipment to talk about safety and the role that they play to keep our community such a wonderful place to live.

The entire school also participated in healthy goal setting in physicial education and an anti-bullying musical concert by the Isaac Joseph band.
